Kenya Election Violence 2017
In Kenya in 2017 the country was forced to endure two separate general elections after the first was contested over irregularities and the Supreme Court shocked everyone by annulling it and ordering fresh elections within 60 days. Both elections were accompanied by street violence and marred by human rights violations but after many months of uncertainty President Uhuru Kenyatta was finally re-elected.
